The color guard is scored and placed with the judgement of its skills in movement as a team and their level of skill they are able to express. During the field season of marching, color guard serves and performs as the visual aspect of the team.

After the field season, the color guard immediately breaks away from the marching band to prepare for their indoor, winter season. The color guard was classfied in the Double A rank of the WGASC and was later promoted to the group, Single A due to their high success and skill of placing first throughout the season.
